The Torres Group are Vanuatu's northernmost islands. Geographically, the group lies north and west of the Solomon Islands. As with all of Vanuatu, the main islands are volcanic in origin. The Torres islands feature four islets: Hiu, Tegua, Loh and Toga.

Far from Port Vila, visitors to the Torres Islands are few. Tucked away from modern life, the Torres Islands are only lightly populated and are adorned with natural beauty. Their coastlines are fringed with white sand beaches, and there's even rumoured to be surf on Hiu.

The villages in Torres Islands are small. Be sure to travel with cash as there are no banks, and only a couple of basic convenience stores. There is a medical clinic in the Torres group, and Telecom Vanuatu and Digicel cellular phone networks are available.
