Melon River Ecotour
Melon River is one of the tourist attraction site up the east coast road. It’s approximately 20 minutes driving from Luganville.
The tour was named according to the colour of the river. It is one of the beautiful hot spots for both domestic and international visitors looking to spend a day away from Luganville.
The tour begins down by the sea after arrival, where tourists are taken on a short World War II Tour, visiting the war relics, parts of the fighter plane, boom shells and the remains of the WWII in the village.
If tourists would like to go for a swim, it is possible to swim down by the river or by the Entry Fee: 1,000Vt PP Kids below 12yrs are half price – 500Vt Toddler 0-5yrs FOC

PRAWN & SQUID INK GNOCCHI 2,800 Potato gnocchi with a squid ink stripe, semi-dried tomato, fresh local fish, basil, parmesan cheese and a white wine sauce topped with prawns. A great dish for squid ink beginners.
SMOKEY CHICKEN SALAD 1,750 This gourmet salad features smoked chicken, greens, sundried tomato, Spanish onion, toasted almonds with a honey & macadamia dressing.
It is 100% gluten free! Should you require vegetarian or vegan, simply request this salad without the chicken. All salads made fresh to order, so no problem doing that for you.
