Shogun
Our vessel line up begins with Shogun, a 34ft Black Watch fitted out with an extensive range of fishing tackle. Shogun is ideal for a day trip in comfort or a week long Adventure through the amazing islands of Vanuatu. Shogun is the perfect vessel for targeting marlin and all the other pelagic species that frequent these waters. This is an ideal vessel for fishing for records on light tackle or fly and currently hold a large number of Vanuatu records. Shogun is suitable for Live-Aboard trip carrying up to three guest or Live-Away for up to five.
The waters around Port Vila and the other islands of Vanuatu are renown to be some of the best waters in the world for catching blue marlin and Shogun is the perfect vessel to fish from. Fish species vary a little through out the year so click on the species calendar on our web site for some guide to species availability.
Just been added to our fleet is a 30ft Black Watch to offer our clients more services. Inshallah is similar to Shogun in fit out and tackle available and great for Live-Aboard for up to two guests or Live Away for up to five. Both Shogun and Inshallah are fitted with 2 X 300hp Yanmar's cruise comfortably at 20kts to get you to the fishing grounds quickly.
Wild Blue is a 9 meter Reef Master that is great for day trips out of Port Vila. Wild Blue has a great tackle line up whether you want to chase marlin or head out with the family for a few hours reef fishing and have a snorkel on a reef. Wild Blue has pretty of sun cover over a spacious deck area and is very popular for groups of up to 6 doing day trips fishing out of Port Vila. (No on board toilet)
Another great benefit of fishing these amazing waters is that you don't need to travel very far before you begin fishing. Ten to twenty minuets is usually ample to get you amongst the action. We can then troll out around the F.A.D.’s and on a little further and fish the Marlin Highway which is more than 1000 meters deep and has become famous for turning on some amazing fishing. The Marlin Highway run hundreds of miles north and south past this island group to provide some of the best fishing in the world and periodically a 1000lb marlin turns up.
