Day 1: We will meet you at the airport then head directly down to TOPLESS to meet your crew and start the day’s fishing. We will be trolling for Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi and Wahoo as we make our way to our base camp located on Nguna - a small island off the coast of North Efate. We will arrive at Nguna in time for dinner and a good sleep. Day two will be an early start!
Day 2: Will begin with a troll up towards Mataso Island. We will break out the jigs and poppers to fish Mataso and Monument Rock, hoping to land some of the XOS sized doggies we know reside there. In the late afternoon we will finish with a troll back to Nguna for a super fresh fish dinner and an ice cold beer.
Day 3: Another early start as we continue to troll for Marlin and other pelagic species on our way up towards one of the world’s great reefs, Cooks Reef. Upon arrival, we will begin casting poppers and jigging the reef for Dogtooth Tuna and big GTs. As the sun starts to set, we will troll back to Nguna for an extra special meal as our hosts will treat you to a traditional pig feast reserved for special occasions.
Day 4: Depending on your flight time, today we will either slow troll for Marlin or speed troll for Wahoo back to Port Vila. We will make sure you get back in plenty of time to check in and catch your plane back overseas. Once on board, you can finally begin to rest those aching muscles that have been put thru the test by some amazing fish.
