Welcome to Nippers Beach Bar

Overhead shot of the beautiful Mele Cove, and Hideaway Island closeby, Port Vila.On Thursday 3rd July, the Vanuatu Tourism Office, represented by its' Information Department visited another new and exciting dining venue that has been opened for only a month, located along Mele cove at Hideaway landing, 10 minutes drive from the capital Port Vila. Nippers Beach Bar is owned and managed by Mike & Amanda Thompson and Tom & Christina Robb from Wet ‘n Wild Water Play. The beach bar opens seven days a week from 10 am till late, and welcomes anyone seeking for a lovely nearby beach dining experience, and cruising visitors from cruise ships and yachts. The menu features a delicious BBQ, fish & chips, curries and more. Takeaway is also available, and happy hour is from 5pm to 6 pm, daily.

A mini TV lounge is placed at the bar’s corner to entertain kids, and families whilst waiting for a drink or simply to laze on after an enjoyable swim. Shortly a sports TV screen will be fixed in the main salon area. Weekends are always fun. Sundays is featured with live band music, and theme evenings, such as the Full Moon Beach Party will take place tomorrow on Saturday 4th July, commencing at 4 pm. There will be bonfires, drums, fire polls, and happy hour from 4 pm till 6 pm. On Fridays, a fun run swim race, and a game of volleyball is slotted into Nipper’s activities calendar. The beach bar caters for large groups, functions, and birthday parties.

Down the pipeline are plans to build an outdoor barbeque and pizza oven so customers can be served hot barbeque and pizza fresh out of the oven outside, and on the water, the floater toys, courtesy of Wet"n Wild Vanuatu, lie afloat to keep the kids busy and happy, whilst parents are in the bar arena. Nippers is currently searching for a custom dance group and string band to entertain during cruise ship days.
