VTO welcomes onboard new IT Management Coordinator Tony Harris

By Tony Harris: My name is Tony Harris. I have started working at the VTO in the capacity of -- for those who might love a good title -- “IT Management Co-ordinator.” Born and raised in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, I have spent most of my adult life living and working in Sydney before my arrival here in Vila where you’ll find me now for some time to come! As an IT professional with a background spanning network management, computing, and electronic systems, I have some fifteen years’ experience in computer and applications support. I am otherwise tertiary qualified, with a degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in computing & electronics. But importantly, I have a strong ITIL background, which may seem a dry topic yet which is great news for the VTO and so too for those working with or alongside the VTO.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and similarly the VTO’s on-line presence and general IT capability will continue to grow from strength to strength.

The industry and the VTO are in a great situation here, so, “watch this space,” but looking out for sustainable developments! Now would the real Tony Harris please step forward, and tell us about his other interests? Yes, sport! I have a great passion for Australian Rules football. But we can talk about that later.
