On Friday 11th September, the VTO Media Famil officer Maina Lukai, and VTO’s Information Officer Rachel Kalmet went on a famil to Santo, and returned on Monday 15th September. The famil was well received by VTO staff and was enjoyed by all 3 including VTO Santo Officer, Donald Garae. Whilst on Santo, the team visited Million Dollar Point B17 Crash site, Espiritu Santo golf course, Bali Hai LookOut, Matevulu Blue Hole, Champagne Beach, Millenium Cave, Leweton Cultural Village, Aore Island Resort, Deco Stop Lodge, Apex Hotel, Hotel Santo, Allan Power Dive Shop, and Coral Quays Resort.
Erick Williams of Santo Safari Tours drove the VTO team around to sites and stop points, and accommodation including breakfast was complimentary, courtesy of The Beachfront Resort. The VTO would like to sincerely thank all Santo tourism operators who supported and assisted in the VTO famil.
