Vanuatu islands is featured in PATA compass

In Pacific Asia Travel Association’s latest magazine, PATA Compass, November/December 2009 issue, there is a feature story on Vanuatu called ‘Small Paradise’ which places Vanuatu in the limelight of new adventure destinations to entice readers from the Asia Pacific to explore Vanuatu’s live volcanoes, beaches, coral reefs, wrecks & relics, and rare authenticity of the destination. The story is written by George McLeod, who interviewed the VTO General Manager Annie Niatu commencing her statement with, “ Vanuatu has so much to offer visitors and we expect steady growth. Tourism is the most important thing for Vanuatu and we love it when people visit us”.

PATA 'Compass' is distributed on a bi-monthly basis to all PATA members, and incorporates an editorial mix of strategic intelligence, forecasts and industry insights as well as regular destination features, industry news and member updates. PATA Compass has an estimated readership of 18,000, including government, state and city tourism bodies, airlines, cruise operators and a broad cross section of travel and tourism industry executives across Asia and Pacific.
