All of the South pacific Destinations, including Vanuatu, were on sale
at the Bula Fiji Tourism Exchange on 3rd, 4th & 5th June 2009, at
Sheraton Fiji Resort & Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa, in
Nadi. Though there has been a lower turn out in the USA and European long
haul market, Vanuatu Tourism was successful in keeping busy during the
whole meeting sessions with popular wholesaler visits from Australian
and New Zealand.
Last year’s event was staged at the Warwick Hotel on the Coral Coast which saw over 200 buyers from Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Europe, USA, Korea, and Japan totalling to 600 + delegates from all over the world who met to gather information and promote their properties or products, with the main aim to showcase the South Pacific as the worlds top holiday destination. Vanuatu was represented this year in BFTE 2009 by Evergreen Limited, Iririki Island Resorts & Spa, Le Lagon Vanuatu Resort, The Sebel, Le Meridien Port-Vila Resort, and the Vanuatu Tourism Office.
