Noumea Tok Tok was organised this year at Le Ramada Plaza, along Anse Vata beach, from 13 to 15th May. The destination was represented by the following industry members: Tanna Evergreen (Sam & Merian Numake), Evergreen Cascades (Liz, Philippe Malas), The Melanesian (Joe Tamata), The Havanah (Greg & Liz Pechan, Mr & Mme Andrew Hobs), Apex Garden Santo Rep, Les Alizés (Paul Alexandre), The Sebel (Alan Kalfabun, Paul Rogers), SKAL Club (Christelle Boudier), Tanna Lodge (Nick Issachar), Coconut Palms Resort Rep, Starfish Cove (Sydney Grace), Le Lagon Resort (Anthony Quin), Iririki Island Resort (Daniel Faivre), and the Vanuatu Tourism Office (Marketing Manager, Sebastien Bador and VTO New Caledonian rep Martine Robin).
In the duration of the event, there were travel agents seminars featuring power point presentations of current as well as new tourism products in Vanuatu, boosting a much wider variety of accommodation and activity choices to attract buyers and create a larger range of holiday packages for Vanuatu. Many of the buyers were impressed with the presentations and hinted interest to further promote the destination and strengthen new ties. On the final day, Vanuatu delegates set up colourful booths and showcased the destination via their products, and in the evening, close to 120 people including travel agents, wholesalers, inbound operators, City town clerk, government officials, New Caledonia media, tourism business managers, and Vanuatu attendees assembled at Le Ramada Plaza for the final function with live entertainment from a Vanuatu string band accompanied by video footages of Vanuatu’s attractions shot by Vanuatu 4 You. The VTO would like to thank all industry members who attended Tok Tok Noumea, for their ongoing support in promoting Vanuatu in such trade events, and wishes everyone a successful outcome.
