Reward for service excellence proves super fit for all functions

By Alcina Charlie, Website Officer: I was picked up by Melissa and staff of Events Vanuatu on Tuesday this week, and we drove off to a an area near the airport so I could find what the sizzling excitement was all about when I got the invitation from Sarah Sands of Events Vanuatu. When I arrived, my oh my what a surprise! Impressed, we pulled up to a huge marquee topping the size chart to 50m x 11m, the largest I have ever seen, here in Vila! I asked Melissa how it all happened and she briefed me that it was around a year ago, when a kiwi couple got married by Sarah and after the wedding, the groom who runs a company that designs and builds marquees, was overwhelmed by how Events Vanuatu had put together a fantastic wedding for him and his bride that arched the beginning of relationship which resulted to this hottest arrival. The marquee is available for hire, and comes with additional services: Events Vanuatu available to help customer coordinate events and set up decorations, and also offers separators to divide the marquee into many areas, customers can hire out a dance floor and stage specifically made for the marquee, marquee can be built to customer’s required length, and customer can have their company logo printed into a PVC so the team can slide in the printed logo panel or wall as required.

Options include 5m x 5m, 5m x 11m, and each 5m after that, and the ultimate 50m x 11m which can be halved into two lots of 25mx22m, and more. The marquee was first used last year on 12th December at a wedding, and has just completed the final touches for another reception tomorrow. “All the staff here, 15 altogether plus 7 boys who specifically look after setting up the marquee are very proud of the marquee and they were even taught how to erect it by the designer and builder himself!”, beamed Melissa who is Sarah’s assistant events coordinator.
