Beachfront Resort's Coolidge Bar & Grill is open!

Report from Beachfront Resort: At last, the Coolidge Bar & Grill is open! On 9 July 2009 we started operations in our new bar and restaurant after a few ‘minor’ delays. The rosewood bar top is spectacular and with our new locally made furniture plus white linen, the location is the perfect place for dinning with our essential, all day menu, and daily blackboard specials. With the new, cold three door drinks fridge, we’ve expanded our range of beers and eventually will have at least 10 different brands, I believe the best in Luganville available, including Corona, 1664 Kronenbourg and Tooheys Dry as well as Vanuatu’s own Tusker. It also enables us to have more chilled wine and cooled glasses on hand. Our open nakamal overlooks Segond Chanel and has already become popular with guests and locals alike for our continental breakfast and lunch or just going online with the hotspot wifi to keep in touch with the world whilst enjoying a cold beer, coffee or snack.

Plenty of power outlets to save those valuable batteries. The old restaurant will be revamped and used for small conferences, meetings and possibly a gym.
