On Wednesday 16th September 2009 at 12pm, Port Vila Member of Parliament who is also the president of the Fest Napuan Music Association, Ralph Regenvanu, signed with Digicel Vanuatu, a 3 years contract for Digicel to be Fest Napuan’s major sponsor sponsoring 2.2 million vatu each year. The signing ceremony took place on Saralana Stage where the music festival is held. This year is the event’s 14th year.
MP Regenvanu acknowledged Digicel for the tremendous support, and advised that the money will be used to improve & reconstruct stage, build an office for Fest Napuan, build and launch new music rehearsal rooms in the provinces, and more. Attendees that afternoon were members of the Fest Napuan Music committee, Digicel Vanuatu executives, radio, TV, and newspaper media officers.
