Up and away on parasail

Last week on Wednesday 12th May, the VTO Marketing team walked down to the Port Vila Parasail pontoon, located along the seafront, for an afternoon of parasailing 70-80 meters in the air while enjoying the beautiful Port Vila harbour marine life & breathtaking views. VTO was represented by Sebastien Bador, Brenda Andre, Aurianne Litoung, and Alcina Charlie. The group was greeted with big smiles from Helen Goad (owner) and her staff, followed by an introduction on Port Vila parasail before gearing up, then jetting out into the harbour for the experience. A little bit after Malapoa point, the boat stopped for quick preparatory tips on the do’s and don’ts onboard parasailing. When asked if it was the first time for VTO staff to go parasailing, all confirmed. Flights lasted around 10 minutes each before a soft and dry landing as VTO staff were reeled back to the parasailing vessel. All three mentioned that the peace and calm whilst at maximum height was overwhelming and almost meditating, which compensated for a few nerve shakes during lift off. Throughout the afternoon, photos were taken onboard the vessel, as well as sneak peaks from the air, complimented by a perfect parasailing weather, friendly staff, and loads of fun!
