Media Release: Vanuatu today launched their new improved Business Class service with a competition to re-name the superior product. “Feedback from frequent flyers told us we needed to give Business Class a makeover, to put life back in to the cabin,” Chief Executive Officer Joseph Laloyer said. “We are constantly reviewing and improving our service and today saw the first passengers experience the new features.” Mr. Laloyer said the new business class included silver service dining with canapés, selected wines and spirits, a four course meal with greater choice and better inflight entertainment. |

On Tuesday 8th June, there was a teleconference meeting and presentation by Moon Creative Agency & stakeholders of the new Vanuatu brand. Moon provided new creative concepts based on feedback from industry after their first pitch, last year. Attendants were predominantly the tourism stakeholders such as TMDF members consisting of reps from VHRA, VTOA, VSOA, and NTDO, whom assembled at the VTO Marketing department to listen and view the refined concepts of the new branding. |

VTO acknowledges Joe Morgenstern for his article published in the Wall Street Journal. The article titled ‘A Pacific Theatre of Memories’ talks about the history and relics of the second world war which Joe recently visited during his trip on Santo. The Wall Street Journal is an English-language international daily newspaper published by Dow Jones & Company, a division of News Corporation, in New York, US, with Asian and European editions. The Journal has the largest circulation of any newspaper in the United States of 2.1 million copies, including 400,000 online paid subscriptions, which creates fantastic publicity for the destination. ‘Laplap it up in Vanuatu’ has finally arrived and looks spectacular in its fine layout. The food feature is written by Anya Kussler and photos by Guy Needham, who both came on a Vanuatu famil trip last year in November. Islandtime is a South-Pacific-specific trade travel publication that is distributed in New Zealand, to the travel trade industry who are the agents, wholesalers, and other business companies involved in the industry. With a print-run of approximately 2,000 copies, the magazine’s readership exceeds the number of prints.
