Your Full Volcanic Tour For Real Volcanic Experience highlighting surfing down Yasur volcano, on Tanna island of fire!
We intend to offer our visitors through these volcanic activities, a real volcanic experience of the volcanic world. Our friendly tour guides will pick you up at 1pm from your resort to begin your tour with a 22km drive through several villages in the forest, across the jungle to the sandy soil of mount yasur.
New Tour: Volcano Sunrise Tour
The Volcano Sunrise tour is an exceptional tour because it combines the night tour of the volcano and the sunrise from the top of the volcano in a cool fresh morning. When the whole world is still at sleep, your smile of the day gets bigger as the orange colour of the sun, gets brighter to rise out from that horizon. At that instant of the first sunrise, an over whelm excitement will make you shout at the top of your voice with the roaring explosion of yasur, for being in a unique place at a special time catching that memorable occasion, once in a life time experience.
Volcanic Ash Trekking & Scenery
Our first volcanic activity will be volcanic ash trekking that takes you through the volcanic ash plain, to walk and get the real taste of the volcanic environment and to discover the nature’s surrounding and associated with the volcanic world. Hence, you will discover ancient volcanic lava that forms a big red rock, island of small trees, bushes and grasses that are tolerable to the volcanic ash soil.
Volcano Sandboarding plus Refreshment
From there, we go sand surfing, here you can either sit or stand on the sand board and surf at any confident height. The speed of the surf is control by your body motion, the more you lean forward applying more pressure on the front foot, it creates more friction that slows down your speed, thus, the more you lean backwards, the more it gains speed, so you actually use your body motion to control your speed to comfortable speed. So once you got confidence in the ride, you’ll get addicted for more rides to feel that thrilled emotional effect carried away by the world’s most accessible live volcano. It is a unique recreational activity for both adults and children to enjoy and have fun at the foot of the volcano with some refreshments.
Volcano Post
After surfing, you’ll be given your volcano post-card with stamps on to write to your best friend or families anywhere in the world, then you will board your transport for fifteen minutes drive up the top of the volcano for posting at the world’s only volcano post. Volcano post is another activity associated with the yasur volcano that gives you the pleasure and evidence to your friends and families anywhere in the world that you’ve been and made it to the top of the world’s most accessible live volcano.
Volcano Night Tour
After posting, you’ll be guided by our experience tour guide to the best viewing spots to get the best gleam and shots of the free fireworks from the enormous mount yasur. Our friendly guides will tell you some island myths about the existence of this volcano while observing its activities. Once your night observation is completed, he will guide you back to your transport that will take you through the volcanic ash plain again for the last time then back to your resort. By the time you get to your resort it should be around 8pm from the full volcano tour.
