Both the National Cultural Arts and Fest Napuan Music festivals have kept Port Vila abuzz and alive with cultural performances and custom demonstrations happening during the daytime and live contemporary / pop music in the evening, last week. Both events have witnessed a mixed assembling of both local residents and visitors. There were hundreds of cruise passengers at the arts festival village on Wednesday marvelling at the colourful range of custom art, dances, and other rare performances that are scarcely performed throughout the islands. The National Arts Festival takes place every 2 to 3 years, this year being its’ third event. The Fest Napuan is staged annually between October and November, inviting international acts to perform alongside local artists and bands.
