Kaleva Yachting Services, based in Port Vila, provides support to superyachts and cruising boats. We offer electrical and mechanical engineering, provisioning, local knowledge, base support, charter and brokerage services. Kaleva – meaning one who goes above and beyond.
KYS is well acquainted and has extensive experience within the yachting industry. Sam Bell, KYS director, has worked in the industry for over 10 years, spending most of his time in the Mediterranean and Caribbean aboard SY Mariette of 1915 (143 ft. Classic Gaf Rig Schooner) as Engineer and Captain and aboard the Maltese Falcon (288 ft. Sailing Yacht) as part of the Build Team and then IT/ Electronics Engineer after her launch.
Kaleva Yachting Services acts as a yacht agent supplying services and products to superyachts and cruising yachts alike. Based in Port Vila, Vanuatu's largest city and arrival/ departure point for most visitors, we are ideally situated to provide a full array of services for yachts and their guests. We offer five areas of service.
Engineering : Repairs, installation, sourcing and ordering spares
Provisioning: Fuel, Food, Drinks, Flowers, Interior and Deck Supplies
Local Knowledge : Assisting with where to get what in Port Vila, internet, phone and fax services, Immigration and Customs, anchorages throughout Vanuatu, information about villages and what they can offer, cultural festivals and traditions, advice on village interaction, dive guides and dive sights, library of Vanuatu resource books
Base Support : Available to receive and/or forward faxes, emails, mail, packages, phone calls and gardinage services
